The High Court in Kampala presided over by Hon.\r\nJustice Stephen Musota heard that the Attorney General, Mr. Peter Nyombi and\r\nthe Uganda Law Society (ULS) are seeking to settle the case involving his\r\nsuspension from the Lawyer’s body out of court. Mr. Peter Nyombi was suspended\r\nfrom the Uganda Law Society for two years over alleged incompetence.

Mr. Joseph Masiko the lawyer who represented the\r\nAttorney General and Mr. Mohammed Mbabazi, the lawyer who represented  the ULS, were both in agreement with the out\r\nof court settlement, therefore Court gave the two parties in the matter until\r\nJanuary 27, 2014 to explore the out of court settlement option and report back\r\nto Court on their progress.
